How do you answer the question, "Are we okay?"
I don't really know after all, okay for me is not a state of something. It is not positive nor negative unless you add the tone of your voice to it. You need to factor in as well, how your listener will take it. We are so used to getting okay as a good reply when in fact there will always be more to it.
Take the photo above as a sample, one of them can be asking if the other is okay. The simple answer will be "yes, I'm okay." The question should be "How are you holding up?" or "Do you think we can find something here we can use to stay afloat?" This might be overthinking for other but this is a better question than the one on the title. There is more concern on those question.
What if there are really close to somewhere safe, "Are you okay?" is fine as long as there is a follow up like "can you still swim towards the shore or boat?"
Whatever the situation don't settle for an "I'm okay!" or "We're okay." reply.

Do you agree with the text on the photo?

I do!
I don't like the idea that the more child you have the richer you are. As it may be true with some families but it will still depend on how well you teach them about life. They are your investment but not in a monetary aspect as they will carry your genes for as long as they live and they can pass it on. The time you had spent with them may well be the time they will spend with you in the future.
I believe that if you teach kids the necessary skills to succeed they will be for every grateful. Don't force them to the future you want to have. Instead, show them that with what they have now they can be great in the future. In this way, they can grow knowing that without you they could have done something else that can break the great future they have.
They are your fruit it is your responsibility to let them grow and you need to protect them. It is like taking care of a tree you let it grow and bear fruit but don't ever think that it will always be there without the proper care.

Dress Code: why is there a difference?
I like dressing up if possible I will do it all the time, but my fashion sense is not really for the everyday look. Society has set rules about it, and you know why it’s hard to follow? It’s because of the unspoken.
Unspoken rules are behavioral constraints imposed in organizations or societies that are not voiced or written down.
~ Wikipedia
Let’s say that you are going for job interview for an office you need to be in corporate attire. A skirt or slacks with blouse or polo. I get that you have to be presentable as a first impression but will it not be easier for the interviewer to see you when you are comfortable and yourself during the interview, than be surprised after hiring you that you that you have an attitude that was covered up by the clothes you were wearing?
Dressing up is not that bad for me, I know I should as after all people are attracted to physical appearance first. However, I’m sure that most people would want to be accepted for who they are and for the possible contribution he/she can give. Also, this may not be for everyone but I do feel more productive if I’m in the clothes that I like, which most of the time Jeans and shirts.
Yes you might think that I’m just making an excuse for all the time I have failed an interview maybe it was not the clothes, maybe it was really who I was and what I want to work on. I just want to point something out. I how this make sense in a way still, thanks for reading this. Have a good day!

Thinking out loud: Do you like Bittersweet things?
| the wallflower and the social butterfly |
Bittersweet is an Oxymoron, a figure of speech in which two extreme
words are put together to describe something.
Ever wonder why people seem to like bittersweet things or
situations?
Let me tell you why, well this is this me, my observation, and my reason why I like bittersweet things or situations. One is for the thrill,
let me give you a sample; kissing someone else that you like when you are in a
relationship or even just the thought of it. Bitter as you know it is not right
and the ‘thrill’ is the sweet part. Not knowing if it will just be a onetime
thing or if you will be caught by your partner. The whole situation makes you
feel alive; it’s the rush of things.
We move on to the next reason I see why people like
bittersweet things, Balance. As stated in my first sentence, bittersweet is an Oxymoron.
For me, you use an Oxymoron as you feel like you are in between two opposite emotions.
As they say, you will never know happiness if you have not experienced sorrow or sadness.
Being in a situation wherein you feel that you are happy and yet you feel
pained is how some people gauge that they are still alive and at the middle
point. You might say that should be neutral ground, no it is no neutral grounds
as you are aware that you feel both emotions.
In short people like the feeling of being tugged from one
side to the other. Guess the outcome of one’s decision and if the parties
involved will do something to make you fall completely to their respected side. We all will go through some bittersweet situation
in the future or maybe you are having one now, I have an advice for you, if I
was in the situation I will enjoy it and if in the end you win or lose something
because of it don’t be sad it is another lesson learned after all.

Jack of all Trades, Master of none!
Is being random bad?
This is my question for today.
I sure you have notice that most of my post are random. The things I write are about are most of the time not connected to the previous post and I think I do not have a specialty topic.
The downside to being random (if you have a blog) I think is people will not remember your site if they are looking for something, they will think
I don’t think that site has information on that. After all the last post I read there was about food os they might not have something about gadgets
This makes me feel sad because I’m a random person. I try to write about things I have done and experienced or something I want to try.
This post is random again, but is that wrong? Is being yourself wrong?
I have cross posted this to Bubblews
And here are some of the answers I got from that post
From mangalover12 - Hi there, your posts are very informative, hope to see more of them. Also I'm doin my Everyday rounds on all of my active connections.Thankss

Multi tasking, Is it really making your brain dull?
![]() |
| Are you an office Octopus? |
Multi tasking is defined by merriam-webster as the concurrent performance of several jobs by a computer.
Now-a-days this is essential to any job may it be at home or in a regular office. It has become a normal thing to do and a routine to people who works in call centers and even to people that take in freelance work.
So, is multi tasking is it really making your brain dull?
I do not think this is the case, maybe it just the fact that you are not focus on one thing. I have heard that if you focus on something for eight second the brain gets to remember better. So for me Multi tasking does not make your brain dull but it just makes you less focus.
So, if you do not want to be called a scatter brain at work or anywhere else, do use you multi tasking skill in moderation and I think this will help you finish one job quicker. This will make the job more concise and I think it will have less room from revision and save time.
It will help you remember the methods you have used that way if it was right you can easily remember them the next time you have to apply them to another project.
I really depends on the capacity of one’s brain, after all some people I know can focus better if they have music in the background, their favorite show on TV or even while eating.
How to save time is one thing but how to save time and have a quality output is another thing.
