Moities Forever

Moitie stands for half in French by the way.  March 28 2015, I was able to attend a very wonderful event. It was the union of a loving couple. I was invited to MoitiesForevever by one of the god parent, Mama Sarah. Held at Two gardens, Tagaytay it was said to start by 3pm. We were there earlier.

Here is one of the Groom with the god mother

With the next couple to tie the knot later this year
There is something so magical about this wedding, I have never when teary eyed on a holy union before but this one is an exception. Everything was just about love and the wish to be with that person you love, it felt so perfect. I guess waiting for the right one to come will be worth this much.
The venue was enchanting it did not need much decoration; the reception area was very classy (yes I did feel kinda out of place), the altar was beautiful was well set up under a shade that was surrounded by plants and creeping vines.

The Altar

It was a very candid and very light, I guess that is what will happen if the couple as already accept that no matter what happens from now on they know that the other with always support and love the other. The vow that was made was simple sweet. I’m happy that I was able to witness it. Cheers to love and your happiness

Thinking out loud: Do you like Bittersweet things?

the wallflower and the social butterfly

Bittersweet is an Oxymoron, a figure of speech in which two extreme words are put together to describe something.

Ever wonder why people seem to like bittersweet things or situations?

Let me tell you why, well this is this me, my observation, and my reason why I like bittersweet things or situations. One is for the thrill, let me give you a sample; kissing someone else that you like when you are in a relationship or even just the thought of it. Bitter as you know it is not right and the ‘thrill’ is the sweet part. Not knowing if it will just be a onetime thing or if you will be caught by your partner. The whole situation makes you feel alive; it’s the rush of things.

We move on to the next reason I see why people like bittersweet things, Balance. As stated in my first sentence, bittersweet is an Oxymoron. For me, you use an Oxymoron as you feel like you are in between two opposite emotions. As they say, you will never know happiness if you have not experienced sorrow or sadness. Being in a situation wherein you feel that you are happy and yet you feel pained is how some people gauge that they are still alive and at the middle point. You might say that should be neutral ground, no it is no neutral grounds as you are aware that you feel both emotions.

In short people like the feeling of being tugged from one side to the other. Guess the outcome of one’s decision and if the parties involved will do something to make you fall completely to their respected side.  We all will go through some bittersweet situation in the future or maybe you are having one now, I have an advice for you, if I was in the situation I will enjoy it and if in the end you win or lose something because of it don’t be sad it is another lesson learned after all.
