Another year has passed in my life and here is another birth month randomness. To be honest I did not know what to do for this year. This idea was not really appealing to me too much as most of the time I'm the one with the photos to post. 

I did find some good ones so here we are! I have posted it on IG and shared it my random FB page.

It was fun looking at old photos. Yes, I grew width wise. haha. If I posted a photo that you took originally, let me know so I can credit you!

Nothing much happened during my birthday month, but I did get myself a new phone. That's about it. Till next maybe!

Random words pretending to be a poem: Grow like you

I don't want to grow old.

To be honest I think I have done everything I want to do

Everything people around me told me I should do.

I don't want to live any further.

I don't want to reach the age where people don't want me to be with them

I don't want to be told that I should stay with person A 

Then be told by person A that I should stay with person B

I think I have lived long enough to be happy

I have traveled with friends and family

I have even traveled alone.

I have tasted food cooked just for me

I have tasted food that is too expensive for some

I have even tasted food that is worth stars

I think I have done enough for a lifetime

I don't want to go any further

The things I have on my plate is enough

The life I have lived is enough

So please stop asking me to be more

Especially if you chose to not grow 

The way you are asking me to.

This is the 5th year of my Birth month Randomness! This year is all about Jack Skellington. To be honest I did not know if had enough Nightmare Before Christmas items. It turns out that 30 days is not enough for the items I have. Here are some of my favorites!

This bracelet is from Ev. It was from the kids' section so I had to add an extension chain for it to fit me. I love it still.

This plushie bag is from my Tita in Japan. It can't hold must but I still like using it from time to time.

I think this is the only one that I actually use daily. This was handed to me by another Tita when she came home from Vietnam.

I just want to say something about Kita Kita!

Stalking is a pattern of behavior that makes you feel afraid, nervous, harassed, or in danger. It is when someone repeatedly contacts you, follows you, sends you things, talks to you when you don’t want them to, or threatens you.

So, for me Tonyo is not a stalker. Thank you! It might be different but he only return the favor Lea did for him. He did not say it but I think the film showed that he did not want to be bother. If you are going to tell me "But he followed her home!" so he did but he did not do anything bad after that or he did not force himself to her.

There are other instances I know, like the one when he follow her in a banana costume. However, before he did, he did argue with himself first. I'm not forcing my idea to you as a reader though. I'm just saying this is a movie and I believe that it is open for interpretations.

But please do not tell me that Tonyo is a stalker especially if you will not say the same thing if his character was played by someone good-looking for your standards. Also, I think Von from 100 tula para kay Stella is a lot scarier.

Nightlife: Going to a Jmusic Event

Finally, after my 29 years in this Earth I was able some what attend a Jmusic related event! It was called Encore: It's Super Effective! Held at Mang Rudy's Tuna Grill And Papaitan, Makati City. Held last June 25, gates opened by 7pm.

This gig was organize by Sky High Live Events as they have posted this on there page March 20. They were the one to update the event page as well. I was pretty late. I have missed the first two bands in the line up. I got to stay for two bands only as I had work to go to. Yes, work is a bother to one's nightlife. *kidding*

For a first time I think it was pretty awesome. I do have to remember to be there early and to bring friends. It was pretty awkward to be there without knowing anyone. As expected I was a wall flower literally. Did not move an inch away from the wall near the door. It was loud but I liked it. I might go to another one given the chance.

#AlDub Fever: KiligPaMore

I love how people are so creative that just a simple “kilig” became a worldwide fever. Just recently they broke #lovewins’ twitter record. The hastag #AlDubtheAbduction gained 6.37 million tweets, lovewins’ records was 6.2 million tweets.

It was been two months since this pairing has started. I do not really know how this will end but I do not think it will end anytime soon. They kinda remind me of Sir Cher and Maya. Raise your hand if you feel the same. It makes people believe in love and that you do not have to be close personal to feel someone’s love. I know “Actingan lang to” but that’s the charm of it, it is so spontaneous that you forget that it is all an act.

As side from that it is a mix of comedy and reality. They deliver morals that we should know by now but we tend to forget. Sometimes it is a serious matter, presented in a subtle manner that will make you remember it. They connect to everyone that is watching.

The characters are simple and easy to relate to. Lola Nidora is your typical grandmother that knows what is right, but can sometimes deliver it in a very antagonistic ways. Yaya Dub may not be your typical Yaya (nanny) but she can represent a young girl's dream of finding someone that will appreciate her. Alden is your dream guy that seems to be hard to reach, but us actually down to earth. It's that simple!

With all the complexity in right now, Eat Bulaga has helped break that that feeling even if it is just for a few minutes. Simplicity at its finest. To the people behind all of these, thank you and congratulations!

Dress Code: why is there a difference?

I like dressing up if possible I will do it all the time, but my fashion sense is not really for the everyday look. Society has set rules about it, and you know why it’s hard to follow? It’s because of the unspoken.

Let’s say that you are going for job interview for an office you need to be in corporate attire. A skirt or slacks with blouse or polo. I get that you have to be presentable as a first impression but will it not be easier for the interviewer to see you when you are comfortable and yourself during the interview, than be surprised after hiring you that you that you have an attitude that was covered up by the clothes you were wearing?


Dressing up is not that bad for me, I know I should as after all people are attracted to physical appearance first. However, I’m sure that most people would want to be accepted for who they are and for the possible contribution he/she can give. Also, this may not be for everyone but I do feel more productive if I’m in the clothes that I like, which most of the time Jeans and shirts.


Yes you might think that I’m just making an excuse for all the time I have failed an interview maybe it was not the clothes, maybe it was really who I was and what I want to work on. I just want to point something out. I how this make sense in a way still, thanks for reading this. Have a good day!

Still new to the world of Starbucks

Wow this is the second time I got something free. I have a Starbucks card I got it registered before my birthday. Apparently there is this perk to registering the card. One is you get a free tall handmade drink if your choice and you get a free cake slice on your birthday when you buy any handmade drink. So today, I redeemed my cake slice, lol after almost 2 months XD

Lo and behold after I have loaded my card, Mari the cashier showed me one long receipt. She asked if I was aware about what that receipt was about, I told her, "No" as I'm not really fond of buying coffee from Starbucks (I just really wanted the planner last year and the card). She told me that I just have to answer an online survey about the whole Starbucks experience (One Ecom Branch) and I have the chance for another free tall drink.

Good job, Starbucks now this is really random. I got this last Saturday. This was the first time I ever bought anything from this branch of Starbucks. Mari was surprised and told me that I was really lucky. Next let's

talk about the experience. I liked the fact that for the free cake slice, you can to pick from the cake you like as long as it's available. At that time the ones they have was Strawberry Pistachio Cake, Cookies and Cream Cheesecake with Oreo and New York Cheesecake. I was thinking about getting Cookies and Cream Cheesecake with Oreo, coz its cookies, cream and Oreo, but decided to get Strawberry Pistachio Cake, it seems to be their feature food. This was Mari's suggestion too, it was funny how it felt like she read my mind.

I think it was a good choice. I like the strawberry part it tasted fresh and not just flavoring or pink coloring. I worked well with my Iced Caramel Macchiato and I say I will be back for more XD

Is being random bad?
This is my question for today.
I sure you have notice that most of my post are random. The things I write are about are most of the time not connected to the previous post and I think I do not have a specialty topic. 

The downside to being random (if you have a blog) I think is people will not remember your site if they are looking for something, they will think 

I don’t think that site has information on that. After all the last post I read there was about food os they might not have something about gadgets

This makes me feel sad because I’m a random person. I try to write about things I have done and experienced or something I want to try.
This post is random again, but is that wrong? Is being yourself wrong?
