How do you answer the question, "Are we okay?"

I don't really know after all, okay for me is not a state of something. It is not positive nor negative unless you add the tone of your voice to it. You need to factor in as well, how your listener will take it. We are so used to getting okay as a good reply when in fact there will always be more to it.

Take the photo above as a sample, one of them can be asking if the other is okay. The simple answer will be "yes, I'm okay." The question should be "How are you holding up?" or "Do you think we can find something here we can use to stay afloat?" This might be overthinking for other but this is a better question than the one on the title. There is more concern on those question.

What if there are really close to somewhere safe, "Are you okay?" is fine as long as there is a follow up like "can you still swim towards the shore or boat?"

Whatever the situation don't settle for an "I'm okay!" or "We're okay." reply.

Review: The YARD, Centennial Road, Cavite

This is a newly opened food park in Cavite. We went there last Monday, as I did not have work. There are I think around 30 plus stores in it. Giving you and your friends or family options.

This place has you covered from appetizers to dessert. Sherome and I were suppose to meet up with my college friends. The set time was 4pm but they were late. So we when ahead and bought food from Transporkmer.

When the other got there, they order ribs, Shawarma, fries and takoyaki. It was great! To be honest it was kinda pricey but hey you only get to see college friends on such occasions. I got dessert from a store called Ice Cream Lab. It was called death by chocolate.

Staycation: Savoy Hotel, Manila

For the first time in a long while I got to stay in a hotel. This time it's in Manila. Joy and I booked a room at Savoy Hotel. They are located within the Newport City, just across NAIA terminal 3.

It was awesome to have Joy booked this room, she knows what she wants. We got a corner room on a high floor and significantly far from the elevator. To be honest, for the price range for two people, it was worth it. You get to use their pool and gym during your stay too!

The bed were super soft and comfortable, the pillow were the same. The decor of the room was relaxing too! The view was okay. You can see planes arriving and leaving NAIA terminal 3. The people at the hotel were nice, if you need something all you need to do is ask.

The breakfast buffet had excellent choices. I honestly though I would go on a food coma after 2 hours of eating great dishes. I need to go back to try their pool and check what the gym looks like and for an awesome rest day!

Klea enjoyed it too!
