Food Tripping: Bacolod Eats

Breakfast, lunch, Dinner and Dessert

If you are thinking that Chicken Inasal is the only thing you can eat in Bacolod. Then, you are wrong! You have so many options, that you won't have time to eat at any fastfood restos! Let's start with breakfast at Bagels by ELG.

The menus and the breakfast Buddy

We were the first customers of the day
Desserts
Cheese Bagel

Located at the ground floor of O Residences Condominium Lacson st. Mandalagan. This small shop makes their bagels in-store. There are a variety of bagels and schmears you can chose from. You can get your sweet fix here too. I was not able to explore the menu too much as we were pressed on time. However, I will definitely visit this place again, if I go back to Bacolod. The price is pretty cheap but the quality is awesome! Up Next, Lord Byron's Backribs Bacolod.

One big backrib

This can be your lunch or dinner place it is up to you. Just be ready for the serving they have! We dined at their Riverside's branch. We got there at around 12:30 pm it was not crowded or maybe because it was a weekday. We all orders the Original Backribs with garlic rice and atchara for only Php 159. Can you see how big that backrib is? This one was worth the travel from Campuestohan!
I know what you are thinking, where can you eat for an afternoon snack? Pizza Republic has you covered!

This place feels like a factory! An awesome factory of pizza! You can make you own pizza here just like in Project Pie. They do not have a menu, just posters on a wall, which I forgot to take photos of. We orders a 10" Champignon pizza, one regular and one spicy roasted chicken. I don't remember for I don't think it when pass Php 500.

The pizza was great! As for the chicken I think is was okay. Service was okay as well. They place was pretty empty when we got there around 2pm. The location of this place is great, you can move to restaurant if you want too. Beside it was Tres, according to their FB page, they serve contemporary dishes inspired by Spanish and American family cuisine. At the back you have Orange Karenderia and somewhere within the compound is The Trap Door Illusion Brewery Pub. You may have to look of the entrance for The Trap door, don't worry is is in plain sight.

What is for dessert? Gelato from Pizza republic. For this one, at Php 145, I think is okay, I did not feel the mint so much though. What I like about it is that is it not so sweet, the chocolate swirl did a great job in adding texture to this gelato! If you are not in to gelatos, there are cake shop that will surely get your attention, like CaleaFelicia's Pastry and Cafe Bob's to name a few.

Have you been to some of this places? How was it?
