Silventure: Ruins in Talisay, Bacolod

The house that loved built
The Ruins is also known as the "Taj Mahal of Negros." After all it was built to remember the love of his life. Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson lost his wife and his 11th child to an accident. He moved on for his 10 children but has decided to build a mansion in memory of his beautiful wife. You can check out more of their story, here.
I don't know how to get there with Grab. Sorry! But I think it is cheaper and less of a hassle with Grab especially if you are a group. You can also check this link for more ways to get there. There is no PUV that goes directly to that area.

This place will never cease to amaze me. Too bad they have added a roof that does not match the style of the old mansion. I kinda liked it before. I just hope with all the changes they have made it is all for preserving this beautiful place.

If you do plan to stay late and enjoy the "golden hour" for taking photos, you might as well enjoy the music and the food they have the in house restaurant. Before I forget the entrance fee is Php 100. The operating hours differ due to private event, so always check out their Facebook page or call before going there.
