Food Tripping: Keb's Flame Grilled Burger

I see to be finding more burger joints nowadays XD

I present to you Keb's Flame Grilled Burger, located in Number 5 Brgy. San Agustin 3, DasmariƱas, Cavite. It is a small shop that can seat 4-6 people inside and if the establishment beside them is close additional tables will be set up outside. It is small shop and I think it is just right, as it is located near residential areas, you do not need to stay there to enjoy your burgers.

Lets's move on to the burger, the owner of Keb's, I guess is a motorcycle/car enthusiast, check out the menu. The burgers are named after vehicle manufacturing companies

The Menu
I was able to try two of their burgers on different occasions. First up is the Mazda, a double patty burger with ham, egg, cheese, lettuce and tomato. For take out they have secured the burger with a barbecue stick so that it will not lose its form when you open it at home

Mazda Burger (Php 129)

Next is the burger called Mitsubishi, it has cheese, onions and ham
Mitsubishi Burger (Php 89)

The patty is always juicy and tasty. I would want to know how they seasoned it XD
I like this place a lot, I recommend this for people that loves burgers. This is a healthier option as the grilled the patties. The price as you can see in the menu is pretty affordable, you can even advance call your order XD

If you are within the area do give them a visit and share what you think about the burgers.
If you have been there, let me know what you think! ^_^

Ps... I think they can match up to Burger King

Food Tripping: Mushroom Burger, Tagaytay

This post is long overdue. Last February 22, Sherome and I went to Tagaytay and had breakfast at Mushroom Burger, Tagaytay. I think I have been here before with relative but that has been years ago. It was refreshing to be back there.

We ordered the same burger, Mushroomburger Regular with cheese and we added 45 php to get a drink and the mushroom fries. The fries did taste like mushrooms, it did have the meaty taste. So most likely it has been marinated overnight.

There is one thing I have notice that is weird, after you order you will get you receipt with a  number written on it. That number will be called out, so that is the queue but the number are not called in order. We were table number 43 let’s say (sorry I forgot), while waiting we heard 31, 45, 47 and 41. So yah that was kinda weird but it was the best breakfast I had for this year. ^_^

Here are some photos

Bmo is Surprised by that Mushroom burger

ahh it is happy to see me

Food Tripping: Size Matters – Alabang Town Center

The size of something does it really matter? Yes it does in body size, shoes size and in food servings too, for me the bigger the better for food that is. XD Size Matters can help you with that.

I have been hearing a lot about this burger joint Size Matters; we went to the Alabang Town Center Branch. They serve burgers, sausages and steaks. For a burger joint that sell big burgers this place is pretty small, the shop as two seats inside and 3 tables outside. Check the photo below, I took the photo and I’m basically leaning on the glass behind me.

Enough about that let’s go to the main course the burgers! You can have a 1/4 or 1/2 pound burger pattie, next time we will try the sausages. So I got The B.S.B. Burger & Sausage Burger (Php189/269*) plus Php60 to have it in a combo (12 oz Drink and Fries). Verdict, I’m hungry again just thinking about it.

B.S.B - Burger Sausage patty with colby jack cheese, tomato, lettuce, onions and lots
garlic mushroom

My partner got The I.B.J Italian Burger Job (Php189/269*) same size as mine and he got the combo as well.

I.B.J - Caramelize Onion on Italian sausage patty with Monterey Jack,
Garlic cream Cheese, lettuce and tomato in an oat bun
*price for the 1/4 or 1/2 Pound respectably

Why did I try Size Matters? I wanted to see why this place does not seem to be as well known as Zark’s or maybe I’m just someone that lives under a rock. The price is pretty much the same, the bottomless iced tea and a bigger location are the plus point of Zark’s. For Size Matters it the fact that their patties are grilled it healthier so to say. I love the smell of grilled food and even if the place itself is small I like it, it’s really fast food as you have to really go after you finished your food and there is no crazy line ^_^

Hi there thanks for reading this. Below is the map to get to Size Matters ATC and all there contact details.

just follow the blue lines to the cinema entrance on the side,
Size Matters is right beside Cinema 5 you will not miss it

Ps I’m not linked to anyone from Size Matters; they need to update the ATC branch Facebook Page

Plus link to the coupon on Metro Deals for the ATC branch

Food Tripping: Zark’s Burgers Taft Avenue

Zark's Burger in Burgundy Taft Avenue

Ever since the Jawbreaker promo of Zark’s in 2012, I have planned to go and eat there as I have heard that their burgers can kill you as it’s really good. The problem before is I was still studying the budget was limited. I guess the talks about the price that it’s 250 plus taxes got to me and I really felt that it will be too much for one meal.

So after almost two years, I got to eat at Zark’s Burgers. Last Saturday, I and my partner finally go there. We are around 4:30 p.m, and we got in around 5 p.m. By the way, you have to get you seats reserved. If you see a line just by pass that and go to the person by the door and have your names listed.

As this was my first time there I really had a hard time in choosing what to get, even though I already checked the menu while waiting outside. We ordered the following Bacon Wrapped Burger and Jawbreaker.

The Menu

The Menu: Major League section

If you did not know, if you order Jawbreaker, you have the option to have it as a challenge or just the regular one. If you order it as a challenge, you will have to finish it in 5 minutes to get it for free. If you go for the challenge apparently the fries serving will be a lot more than the one on the regular serving.  You can do the same for the tombstone, finish it in 10 minutes and you get it for free. Oh it comes with unlimited Iced tea.

My Partner with his Jawbreaker

Zark's Jawbreaker is a burger with 3 burger patties, topped with spam
you have cheese in between the patties and veggies at the bottom
with fries on the side
I got the Bacon Wrapped Burger, it took a while to before it was delivered to our table but it was worth the wait. If you love bacon and burgers this is the right burger for you, but you better be ready as it’s all me can have you full in no time. (Yes I did not finish it. I just ate half XD)

Me and  Deep Fried Bacon Wrapped Burger
 XD

(I think it was a 1/2 pound patty in there)

Now, about the place, the have moved from Archer's Nook to Burgundy Taft Avenue. The place has a theme,Vintage and Sports. We saw a lot of photos about basketball and vintage style poster of a soda company. There is one thing I felt off about the place, they have too many people and yet, we felt like the service was slow or maybe they are just to busy as there are a lot of people waiting and dinning.

I like this place and we will come back for the deep fried snickers. Friends you have to come with me next time!
