Food Tripping: Zark’s Burgers Taft Avenue

Zark's Burger in Burgundy Taft Avenue

Ever since the Jawbreaker promo of Zark’s in 2012, I have planned to go and eat there as I have heard that their burgers can kill you as it’s really good. The problem before is I was still studying the budget was limited. I guess the talks about the price that it’s 250 plus taxes got to me and I really felt that it will be too much for one meal.

So after almost two years, I got to eat at Zark’s Burgers. Last Saturday, I and my partner finally go there. We are around 4:30 p.m, and we got in around 5 p.m. By the way, you have to get you seats reserved. If you see a line just by pass that and go to the person by the door and have your names listed.

As this was my first time there I really had a hard time in choosing what to get, even though I already checked the menu while waiting outside. We ordered the following Bacon Wrapped Burger and Jawbreaker.

The Menu

The Menu: Major League section

If you did not know, if you order Jawbreaker, you have the option to have it as a challenge or just the regular one. If you order it as a challenge, you will have to finish it in 5 minutes to get it for free. If you go for the challenge apparently the fries serving will be a lot more than the one on the regular serving.  You can do the same for the tombstone, finish it in 10 minutes and you get it for free. Oh it comes with unlimited Iced tea.

My Partner with his Jawbreaker

Zark's Jawbreaker is a burger with 3 burger patties, topped with spam
you have cheese in between the patties and veggies at the bottom
with fries on the side
I got the Bacon Wrapped Burger, it took a while to before it was delivered to our table but it was worth the wait. If you love bacon and burgers this is the right burger for you, but you better be ready as it’s all me can have you full in no time. (Yes I did not finish it. I just ate half XD)

(I think it was a 1/2 pound patty in there)

Now, about the place, the have moved from Archer's Nook to Burgundy Taft Avenue. The place has a theme,Vintage and Sports. We saw a lot of photos about basketball and vintage style poster of a soda company. There is one thing I felt off about the place, they have too many people and yet, we felt like the service was slow or maybe they are just to busy as there are a lot of people waiting and dinning.

I like this place and we will come back for the deep fried snickers. Friends you have to come with me next time!
