Food Tripping: Sit and Zip Imus

Sit and Zip is a cafe in Imus. It is on a rooftop of GRS Building near S&R Imus. It is cozy and the food is great. There are 3 parts to this place. Outdoor, Air-con area and an area for grilling as they also have unli samgyeopsal.

We stayed at the Air-con area that looks like a park with wood seatings. There are plastic plants and zabuton for you to seat on. There tables that can accommodate 4 to 6 people.

This was the first time my sister and I visited this place. There is a branch closer to SM Bacoor but I want to see the original cafe. We opt to taste 2 drinks, pasta, and a sandwich.

I love the drinks. It is big, good choice if you are there with friends and have plans on catching up. Their meaty spaghetti and carbonara were good for sharing too. It was a good pair with the clubhouse sandwich.

Serving time is around 10 to 15 minutes. We stayed from 4pm to 6pm and it was great. There was not crowded that day which was good.

Food Tripping: Bon Appetea Cavite City

Milk teas and waffles if you are looking for those in Cavite City, Bon Appetea has you covered. They have been open for about 2 months now.

Their menu has a wide range of tea, pasta, waffles, and rice bowls. I have been trying their milk teas to find my "Usual" but so far no luck. 

I was with my sister this time. We ordered Berry Citrus, Bacon and Cheese Waffle and Sirloin Tapa
I brought Klea with me too!

Below is the Berry Citrus and Bacon and Cheese Waffle. I would want more syrup on the waffle though. Klea likes the waffles. Hehe

So my sister got the Sirloin Tapa with free ice tea. It was good, I like the egg that comes wit the tapa!

The place is not too crowded food is good and you can stay longer if you want. It is place you can go to if you want to catch up with friends.

Food Tripping: Secret Haven Cafe

This is my second time here! Finally get to blog about it. So this place is already internet famous. Secret Haven Cafe in Noveleta, Cavite is a place where you can dine as if you are at your own home.

They open at 11 am it is best to be there before anyone else if you want to take photos and enjoy the peace and quiet. Their garden is filled with cactuses and succulents. It also has a rustic and sweet at the same time.

You found Klea

Let's get to the food. The first time I visited this place, I have ordered their version of butterbeer and clubhouse sandwich. It's called Prague Castle in their menu. If I remember it correctly.

This time I got to try their plates of pasta. I forgot to write down the names, but one as in red sauce and the other in white. I also got one of their best selling drink, mint iced tea.

So sorry for forgetting the names of the things we ordered. This blog is so late really. It was an awesome afternoon date at this place. I would definitely go back to try the other items on their menu. I have heard good things about the milkshakes that they have. 

For now, I'm glad to finally know about this secret! :)

Food Tripping: Lizzy at MOA

Welcome to the new Lizzy Latte!

It has been two years since I have been to Lizzy Latte! I have been monitoring their page since then. I know that for sometime now they had closed the store in Makati with a promise to come back to a new place. I have waited patiently for updates. You should have seen may face when I read this post. 

I work in Makati and seriously their branch in Salcedo was just an eight-minute walk from my office. Sadly, out time never synced. So, now that they are at SM by the Bay and they have longer operating hour, I will definitely have more chances to visit them. 

We were told that they are still on soft opening mode. I'm glad to see that people are noticing them even though they have not advertised the place in full blast. It is somewhere between Grilla and Razon's.

So, for this Food Tripping blog, I was with Cindell and Sherome. I got Mocha Mint Marvel Habitual and they both ordered Green Tea Grandeur Habitual. Sizing guide for cold drinks: Habitual I think can match up to SB's Grande and Addicted is their version of Venti.

Food! OMG! The Truffle Parmesan Fries is love. Look at the photo again makes me hungry. The potato was awesome the skin was crisp but the inside was moist! Also, we got free cake for being nice. Kidding! It was a complementary cake for being customer in the Makati branch. I just love the fact that the owner was so nice to give us free cake, even though they have just opened. It is not everyday that you get to encounter someone like that. 

Sherome also ordered Spaghetti with Meat Balls and it was heaven as well! It will pair well with the Truffle Parmesan Fries. Our friend Cris, came late, she ordered Blueberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Velvet. 

Next time we visit, I think I will get myself a cup of green tea latte with 3D latte art and mozzarella sticks! I can't wait for their Grand opening on July 17, I hope I remembered it correctly.

A new dork

The walls still sport the same color scheme from the Makati branch. The mural now though it depicts the sites you can see in and around the Mall of Asia and people that are most likely close to the owner. The chandeliers were missing as Ms Liz said that she did not want guys to feel that Lizzy Latte was for girl only.

Food Tripping: Brickwood Cafe

Welcome to Brickwood Cafe

Who say only lovers have the right to go on date during the love month? No one really just being weird! So, where to go on friendly dates! Check out Brickwood Cafe in Bacoor, Cavite. This place became viral during the last quarter for 2015. They made you think before you can access their Wi-Fi connection. Read more on this post of When In Manila. They are still doing this till this day. During our visit the password was the answer to this question "What is the Tagalog term for teenager?" Comment below if you know!

Once you have order, you will be given a table number like this. The ambiance is very cozy and even on a hot afternoon the place was cool and airy. It basically a backyard converted to a cafe. They have a stage and TV that was showing music videos.

I was excited to be there as I really wanted to try their milkshakes, especially Rainbow Unicorn. So, where is what we ordered, a small order of Nachos, in which we felt was not really small. I had Creamy Chicken with Mushroom and Rainbow Unicorn. My partner in crime that afternoon, Len got Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Marinara dip and Green Apple Breeze.

This is a great place to hang out with friends! The food is good, the serving is great and if you come in the right time it is not that crowded. I recommend this place for some quality time with friends and love ones.

Just a reminder, operating hours is from 3 pm to 12 mn, Tuesdays to Sundays.
