Silventure: Taytay Falls, Majayjay, Laguna

Photo from Boss Justine

Located in Majayjay, Laguna, Taytay falls is also known as Imelda Falls. You need to pay the 20 pesos environmental fee then proceed to the parking lot. There is a parking lot fee of 50 pesos.

It was easy to get to the falls as there is a paved walkway. I was told that there was a hanging bridge but you don't need to cross it to get to the falls, it was just added attraction.

This was a part of your team's summer camp.
The water is cold as heck. As I always say don't visit during the weekend, it's too crowded and noisy.

Silventures: La Luz Beach Resort

La Laz Resort
Time for relaxation!

I decided to make a separate post for La Luz Beach Resort and how it was staying there. First, this is the first time in a long while that I have been on the beach and on a company outing. This place gives you the right feel of summer! Hot by day and perfect at night!

Welcome Drink
I think La Luz was built to handle company outings and team building but I can't say that a family outing here will not be fun. I just think it will be cheaper it you are part of a big group. They have 7 types of rooms: Junior Premier, Premier, Premier Loft, Annex, Annex Loft, Annex Dorm, Dorm. You can check out the capacity of each room on this link.

Beach Front
There are plenty of things you can do while you are there. You can do water sports, you can rent games and play on the giant chess board (forgot to take a photo of that), take photos, walk around the resort or you can relax on these:

Day trip Cavanas
Some of the Premier rooms
I know you must be wondering about the food. I don't have photos but the food was great! I have never been to a resort that has buffet breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks and dinner. I loved the dinner set up, it was by the beach front.

Sunrise are the best! I liked how the sunrise in this area can be mistaken as a sunset. It's so yellow.

Sunrise!

Sunrise at the beach!
Breakfast was held at the second floor of the ares where most people eat. I honestly though I was going to have food coma due to so much food. I liked the on the spot omelette station. You can have your omelette customized. Salute to Kuya that was there the whole time!

Omelette station
I know I loved the place and all, but there are some points that can be improved. When we got to checked our rooms the bedings were not enough for 6 people. I have heard from other that is was the same in their rooms. The airconditioner in our room did not have the swing function, it took a while for the whole room to cool. Black outs I'm sure sure about the cause but there were times during our stay that the light just when out. It was fun though as it happened at night. There was one incident during breakfast as well, not sure if is was a mix up but I honestly thing that our group with about 60 people should not be given a common breakfast set up. I almost just into an argument when I asked an office mate about the people in line that was not part of our group.

I still love the place despite the flaws. I got to experience, the sun, salty waters, fishes and relaxation! It was a great summer outing!

Work Life: Summer Camp 2017

Held at La Luz Beach Resort in Batangas. This year's summer camp is way more enjoyable than the last. PlayWorks did a great job! What else, I liked the venue a lot too. It has been a while since I have enjoyed the beach, it was a great experience to be there with people from work. Food was great, the water was super clear and there are fishes under rafts. Although it felt more like an outing than a team building event. Well it was fun and that is all that matters to me!

Summer Out During June: Aquaria Calatagan, Batangas

I know summer is technically over in terms of the season, but hey I can I will always be ready to swim. So after years of not being able to go on a summer outing. I present to you a review of Aquaria.
Located in Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan, Batangas, check the bird’s eye view below:

Aquaria View
Bird's Eye View Of Aquaria

It was past 6am when we left Cavite City we got to Aquaria around 9am, as some of the roads were being repaired and we got kinda lost.

This is how far it is from Cavite
I know this was suppose to be review... but I think it is best for me to put the photos to speak for themselves (these are non pro pics ok)

This is what you need to look for

You have to keep a look out for this sign. Yes I know does not say Aquaria, but this is you landmark. At the guard house they will check how many are your entering the location. I think they will let the front desk know that there are people coming in

Then you will see this
While my Titas talk to the front Desk, we sat at the waiting area. There are a number of chairs and Benches the place is pretty spacious... It give me the feeling that this was for people that has a lot more than others

I like taking photos of tickets or Entrance bracelets
Now that we have the proof that we are paid... Let's check out the pools and amenities. The first thing you will see the the Kiddie pool
Kiddie Pool
Then you will see this, at the top is the slide.
Water falls and the stairs up to the slide

This is the other side of the water falls

Beach front entrance

So as you can see, this place allows you to enjoy swimming pools and the beach
Beach Front

More Beach Front
We stayed in the beach front as this was the only place where we are allowed to cook using a portable stove. There are cottage within the pool area. The pool where you can really swim seems to be just for the people that is staying in cottages
View from the top where the slide was

excuse my derp face

Verdict: It was boring for me. With just one slide and not enough pools to actually swim in. That pool where in you can play games like diving for a coin or doing laps are enclosed to the people that has cabanas or cottages near the pool area. I feel that this place is only good for shoots or if you have more to spend ^_^ sorry I'm a poor kid

Things to remember
SUNBLOCK hahaha
Proper Swim Wear
Pack up before 5pm as the sea winds are strong by 5pm and sand gushing against your skin hurts
