Review: Chula Organics

Chula is Spanish slang for "cute" or "a beautiful woman. This is the brand name of this shop that sells organically made beauty products. They have soap. shampoo, conditioner, toners, and lip colors.

I got to try their shampoo, conditioner and the activated charcoal soap. I liked the minty smell of the shampoo and conditioner, however, it may not be suited for my colored hair. It made my hair a bit dry that I would need to use a different conditioner to make it smoother. It did help with keeping the flakes out of my head.

I did love the soap! It has helped control the oil on my face. I knew it worked as when I was not able to use it for about 3 days the oil was just too much. It has helped clear my pimples as well due to oil and heat. See the before and after below:

The before photo was taken May 20 and the after photo was taken July 10. I use the soap only for my face and neck so it lasted long. As you can see the pimples are gone and my skin doesn't look oily at all. So I recommend the soap. As for the shampoo and conditioner, it will be best to try it for yourself as I have heard that people do like it has worked for them.

Food Tripping: Tsokolateria, Tagaytay

This is brought to you by this man
Sherome and his brother when to Tsokolateria, Tagaytay before he told me about it. I wanted to try so here we are. I think this is the same cafe as the one in Baguio. I just got waffles and hot choco.

Tablea Waffles: Strawberry Overload

Tsoko-Nut
Both are good for two. It is good but a bit pricey for me. It will be fun to bring in friends and order different dishes and drinks so you can taste most of what they have on their menu. They do have a pretty open-air sitting, just make sure there is no chance of rain on your visit. :)

Silventures: Puzzle Mansion

Puzzle Mansion is the place where you can see the completed puzzles done by Georgina Gil-Lacuna. Guinness in 2012 awarded the collection as the largest Jigsaw Puzzle collection in the world.

Located in Barangay Asisan, Tagaytay. It is a bit of a trip if you do not have your own car. The area is quiet and far from the noise of the city proper.

The puzzles are arranged according to their design and type. There is a section for a soda brand, classical paintings, landscapes and more. They also have 3D, wood, and ball puzzles.

They also have 3 large puzzles on the second floor. They also have a lot of puzzles for sale. There is a pool in the area and some rooms. I just not sure if they are for rent.

This is the 2nd biggest puzzle they have

The one on the right is the biggest
The current record for the biggest puzzle collection is in Brazil with 1,047 puzzles completed. I have been looking at blogs about the Puzzle Mansion and there are some that say that there are a total of 1500 puzzles in the collection. I do hope they try and get the record back.

Silventures: Tabby Town Cat Cafe & Corgi Club

Check Klea's photos click here
Talk about a late post. So I finally got to visit Tabby Town Cat and Dog Cafe last April 30. They have month promos so watch for those.

Currently, they are located along Santa Rosa-Tagaytay road. It's about 10 kilometers away from Tagaytay Rotonda. You can enjoy playing with the cats and dogs in 30 to an hour. Depending on the set up you will choose. Let's check the Cats first!

We were the only ones there around their opening time. I was free to enjoy the cats and the dog as it was my birth month. Sherome had to pay for his entrance bwahaha! I guess that was the reason why the cats were around him more

this one was staring at the birds outside

obligatory photo with the logo hehe

I love her eyes

We did have our drinks with us. I got a strawberry milkshake and Sherom got iced tea. Don't leave your drinks unattended as the cats will try to get a taste of it and from what I was told they are not allowed to do that. I know they do sell treats for you to share with the cats. I was not able to ask about it. Let's move to the dogs now.

The dogs were located on the 3rd floor of the building. Unlike the cats that were in an air-conditioned room. The canines were in an open-air floor. The caretaker asked us to wait before seeing the dogs. When they saw us they were rowdy but when we were asked to come in they were so tame and were not barking at all.

I'm starting to think it's his bday, not mine.
They have different breeds. Most of them were really big and playful. A complete opposite to the cats. They love running around and jumping at you. There is one Corgi in the area but she's in a cage as the according to the caretaker is a bully.

There was a Pomeranian that stayed with me after she was air dried. It was so cute that I want to bag her and take her home but the price... Also, people at home has asthma. If you do like cats and dogs this is a great place to visit if you are from Laguna, Cavite or Tagaytay.

They are still looking for a new place, so check their FB Page and support! They are open from Daily except for Thursday. From 10:30 am to 7:00 pm Weekdays and 10:30 am to 8:00 pm weekends! Bring your fam and friends! The more the merrier!

Life Update: I bid good bye to my Gallbladder

This was my hospital bed
Late March of this year I was diagnosed with a stone in my gallbladder. I did not want to go under the knife for it so I try the medication first. Which was a bad choice if you did not want to change your diet. Long story short, I wasted 6 thousand pesos and I still had to go under the knife to get it removed.

The medicine did not work as according to the surgeon the type of stone orientals has are the type that can't be broken down as it is no just cholesterol but it is a mix of bile salt and sometimes calcium.
So it was set, June 29 I have to get it removed.

I was told to go for a second opinion but to be honest I did not want to. Once it will be a waste of credit from the HMO and two I know that if I don't get it removed now it might produce another stone in the future. I just want to get things over with.

It's now July 3 it has been two days since I got out of the hospital. I will feel weird and dizzy. I can only wash my hair and sponge bath myself. After all that I feel normal as if nothing was taken out of me. I'm only reminded that I'm missing my gallbladder when I feel my wounds aching.

There will be changes in my diet as I can't have pork, beef, dairies and fatty food. So, yah here is to be trying to be healthy for reals!

This is me a day before the surgery
