I will be honest, I’m a cheapskate. I do not like buying
things that I think is overprice. If I find something I like that is too
expensive for me, I will look for something similar in another place. Yes, even
if it means going to Divisoria
for it or going for second hand items.
I just recently got new headphones; I got the Humlan by
UrbanEars. The number one reason why I got it is because the foam and
the headband can be washed. I was planning
on using it while I jog (Which by the way I have not yet started). I will be
following the same review as the one I did for my Masterpiece
Headphone.
My Masterpiece Headphone pretty much looks like the Plattan
by UrbanEars (79.90 USD) the Masterpiece is priced at around 13 USD. I can
basically buy all the four colors that Masterpiece has plus one more. I bought the more expensive one to check on
one thing, is it true that the more expensive it is the better quality it has
or is it still how one uses the item. Please note that I basically bough 2 Masterpiece,
I was able to use the first one for about 6 months and the second one for about
4 months.
More about the Humlan by
UrbanEars, priced at 59 USD on the site. I got mine at 2250 Php from AstroPlus.
I made sure that I got the one with the wash bag. I was told that the first
batch did not have the wash bag.
Here are the things you will have:
- The headset with mic (It has a remote but it can only pause the music or answer and drop a call)
- The washable parts (Headband and ear foams)
- The wash bag (which has another use)
- A product catalog (with the specs of all the product Urbanears has)
- A sticker (in the color of your pair)
- It’s comfortable to use even if you wear eyeglasses (It does not cover my ear too much unlike my old pair)
- Your music will not leak out (it does not even let you hear the music even if you place it behind your ears)
- It has ZoundPlug, that lets you share your music with the use of another pair of ear or headphones
Other information:
Colors: Black, Citrus, Forget me not, Julep, Clover, Cobalt,
