Food Tripping: Sisig Society - Sm North EDSA

Raise your hand if you are Sisig lover!!! Sisig Society has you covered. Sherome and I discovered this place at the Sky Garden in SM North. The extrior is post looking we honestly though it was expensive to get sisig from there. We tried it still as Cheese and Bacon was calling me. :)

Did have time and there were other people but I think you can pose with these art

Do you see John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe and Albert Einstein?

As you can see in the photos the interior is still posh with a bit of pop to it. It felt like a gallery to me. Okay, enough of that let's move on to the sisig! I ordered Bacon and Cheese sisig and Sherome got Galic Shroom. The serving was pretty okay for the price, you will be satisfied with it. Both variants of sisig were good. I was not a fan of mushroom but I would order Galic Shroom if I feel like eating mushrooms. You do have the option to create your own by choosing the base meat: pork, chicken or seafood, two toppings, and there rice or nachos

Here are suggestions to make the eating experience better. Serve the sisig sizzling, I know the menu did not say that it should be but the food cooled down to quickly and it became greasy. Change the plates to something that's a little bit heavier as one can easily push it out of place. Lastly, dessert is important so always have them on stock. I will come back to try the other combinations and as well as the Turon Eyes Cream

Back Ride Diaries:Ternate-Nasugbu (Kaybiang) Tunnel

This was one of the highlights of 2015. Still a back ride but it was awesome! We started early, the group met up at Mcdonald's Pala-Pala. Then we picked up two other riders along the way, I'm not sure where it was exactly. I did not track the progress of the ride, so forget me about giving estimates.

From there, we traveled straight to Naic, Cavite, then to passed by Ternate, Cavite. Ternate is known to have beautiful beaches and there is a bridge where you will be able to see where the waters of the Maragondon River and Manila Bay meet:

Maragondon Bridge
After this, I saw the entrance to Puerto Azul. I did not think that I will see it again as it has been a long time since I was there with relatives during the 90's. The next stop was the Marine Base, we did not take photos there, though. We continued the ride up to a dead end, that seems to be one of the entrances to Caylabne Hotel. Here are some photos:

Behind us is a view of the Marine Base

There are monkeys in the area.

It was almost lunch time when we got to the Kaybiang Tunnel. It was opened to the public in 2013, at 300 meters it is the longest underground highway in the country. It connects Ternate and Batangas. It is popular to riders and cyclists. Checkout this video just excuse me for being amuse by this. XD

Here are more photos:
You will find this place on the Batangas side You can eat your packed food here for free.
They also sell drinks and snacks

The one behind the counter, she's the owner of this place.
The next thing we did was to ride from Kaybiang to Tagaytay! There is not much to see after this. This trip just made me realize that Batangas is huge! I did not even feel like I have been to one of the roads we use for this trip and I have been to Batangas I think twice by then. There are so many roads you can take.

Headphone Review time: Amazing Sounds by Elephant

I'm back with a new headset review! It sad to say that I have once again broke my UrbanEars Humlan. I got myself a new pair, I'm back to Elephant. This time, it's called Amazing Sound, I think it is still under the Masterpiece series!

This one is pretty much the same, they are collapsible, has mic and leatherette ear covers. They differ in the shape of the earphones, the cord and Amazing Sound does not have a case.

You have the following colors to choose from Neon-Blue, Neon-Orange, King Black, Neon-Green, and Neon-Pink. As I have said it is very similar to my first Elephant headphones, it cancels out sounds, comfortable and the part the I like the most with this pair is that you can remove the cord from the headset itself. Maybe this feature can help me preserve the cord better as it is the number one reason why I have these reviews, I buy new ones a lot. XD

It is still for the same price of Php 595
Oh and the warranty is for 3 months only.

This is my year-end review - 2015

So the year has started. So this place has been dormant, sorry about that. So for now, this post will be about 2015. Just a review of what happened! Yes, it's days late. XD

There are been a lot of food trips, ride and bonding time with friends. There is also my new work. It was a wonderful year that was filled with struggles and surprises. 2015 was truly awesome! Although, things did not really go the way I want it to be I would not change anything. I would like to take this time to thank people! Sherome for putting up with me and my indecisiveness, also for all the time that I felt like I made him drive to random places just because. To my parents that are finally, I think is letting me do what I want and go to places where I want to go. To POS thanks for being crazy with me and the opportunity to be a marshal for random events!

I'll just highlight a few major events. This year I was again able to travel to another part of the country with not relatives. The Puerto Galera adventure was great! I have not done a post about it hopefully in the future I can so that it will be a guide to planning the same thing. This is also the year that I started the Back Ride Diaries. It's about travelling to places on a motor. Oh! Must not forget that this was the year where I got to experience a very special event in Tagaytay, that celebrated love, Sir Pao and Sir Rhex's wedding.

I'm looking forward to what 2016 will bring! Here is to more travel, surprised and food!

Happy 2016 to Everyone!
